Lectures

In the 1980’, Pierre used to give lectures and slide presentations on his travels (Pakistan, Nepal, Ladakh-Zanskar, Galapagos) at photo clubs around Paris, at the Museum of Natural History, as well as in Chateau de Coppet (near Genève), Switzerland, in 1982.

In January 1989, he was guest lecturer for one month on board French cruise ship “Mermoz”, sailing from the Caribbean Is. to the Galapagos Islands and back, giving talks about the Galapagos Islands to an audience of 500 people.

Later on, Pierre gave lectures in English at the ‘Royal Geographic Society’ in Hong Kong, on the “Galapagos Islands” (2003), “Papua New Guinea” (2007) and more recently on his “Freshwater cave diving explorations in Madagascar” (2017).
